Organizational Gift Guide

Are you thinking about organization at Christmas?

For Christmas, I will ask for something besides an organizational item - but sometimes new and fancy organizing things are so motivating after a fun but tiring holiday season.

You can find clickable links for all the items on this image below the image. Scroll down to read why I chose them!

Rose Gold Wall File Box & Rose Gold Hanging File Folders

I love keeping things organized neatly, and tools like this make it pretty and make it possible to stay on top of filing papers. We do keep an annual portfolio of our kids homeschool work, so placing their weekly work in files makes it much easier to do that!

The Bullet Journal Method

I adore this book and have never read a book based around planning that clarified my thinking so much. After reading this I still don't write a bullet journal, but I use many bullet journal principles in how I plan. This book is gold for getting thoughts organized, no matter how you choose to get them on paper.

Colorful Journaling Pens

Colorful pens are happy, fun, and make it easier to keep my four kids and their respective schoolwork straight in their 6 week planners that I keep in their binders. And also…

Happy Planner

It makes my planner so much happier to look at when it is colorful! I can also color code what I’m working on, who the project is for, completion dates, and more!

Giant Post its

These are just silly, fun, and cool to have around. I homeschool in my dining room so having these to stick on the wall is great. I use them for spelling lists, chore charts, and whatever I else need a visual reminder for!

Homeschooling with Friends Calendar 2023

Have you ever bought one of those restaurant discount cards? I know inflation is nuts, but they did exist at one point in time. That’s the idea behind this calendar. Eleven digital curriculum creators came together to each offer a unique monthly discount on their shops and their curriculum. My discount month is August, and I have *many* surprises in store, largely involving some new My Texas Homeschool offerings that I’ll be beta testing starting in January.

Several items listed are Amazon affiliate links, where I would receive a small commission at no expense to you were you to purchase a product through one of my links. Thank you for supporting My Texas Homeschool’s free content in this way!
